Item Notes: Batman The Master Race (also known as DKIII) is the third part in Frank Miller's iconic future vision of Batman and the DC Universe begun in Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. Batman: The Master Race # 1 had many variants by some of the top artists in the industry paying tribute to Frank Miller's Batman legacy. This cover by Jae Lee was an exclusive for Dynamic Forces and was issued in both Color and in lesser quantities as a Sketch Cover Variant.

About: Spider-Man and Batman: Disordered Minds # 1 features a rare Marvel/DC collaboration. The comic features a Carnage and Joker team-up. The comic was signed by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson at New York Comic Con 2018. Dennis O'Neil signed the comic at the East Coast Comic Con 2019. Date: January, 1963 Writer: Bill Finger Artists: Jim Mooney About: Detective Comics # 311 features the first appearance of the Batman villain, Catman. Also features an early appearance of Martian Manhunter. Condition: Very Good Condition. Complete and attached at both staples with cover wear consistent with grade. Condition Notes: Mid-Grade Condition with minimal cover wear. Item Notes: Batman # 428 features the Death of Jason Todd (Robin II). Jason Todd, the second Robin, was controversial from his inception as a replacement for Dick Grayson (the first Robin). Created by Gerry Conway for Batman #357, Todd was a mirror image of Dick Grayson with the exception that he had blonde hair that he dyed when appearing as Robin. After Crisis on Infinite Earths, Jason Todd's origin was dramatically altered to re-envision him as street kid. Jason Todd hereafter was depicted as questioning, petulant and had a tendency to be more extreme than Batman, even killing in one instance. In the Death In The Family storyline Jason Todd as Robin had been beaten by the Joker. The end of the comic featured a 1-900 telephone number to allow fans to determine his fate. While an alternate ending was created to show Robin had lived, the fan vote determined the fate of Jason Todd to die. Batman #428 revealed the outcome of the fan vote.
