Alan Moore changed comics with his innovative writing on Swamp Thing. Combined with a detailed and mood setting art by Steve Bissette, John Totleben and Alfredo Alcala among others, Alan Moore's Swamp Thing led the way for more mature stories in main stream comics that would eventually lead to DC's Vertigo imprint. Having been dead for over three years, this issue features a cameo scene at Oliver Queen's gravesite that shows Parallax (Hal Jordan) conjuring a second unrevealed figure. In Kevin Smith's Green Arrow series, this event is revealed to be Oliver Queens resurrection.

Suicide Squad: Rebirth # 1 NYCC Foil Variant is an exclusive comic available at New York Comic Con 2016. This comic was not available at comic shops and limited to supply at the convention. This comic was signed by Jim Lee at Mike Carbo's Big Apple Con 2017.

This is the first comic book series to feature He-Man and the Masters Of The Universe. DC Comics won the license to produce mini-comics for the toyline, and released this three part series as an original story during the early 1980's. In 1985, Marvel Comics gained the rights to produce a He-Man series which lasted 13 issues before cancellation.
