Condition Notes: Mid-Grade Condition with minimal cover wear. Item Notes: Batman # 428 features the Death of Jason Todd (Robin II). Jason Todd, the second Robin, was controversial from his inception as a replacement for Dick Grayson (the first Robin). Created by Gerry Conway for Batman #357, Todd was a mirror image of Dick Grayson with the exception that he had blonde hair that he dyed when appearing as Robin. After Crisis on Infinite Earths, Jason Todd's origin was dramatically altered to re-envision him as street kid. Jason Todd hereafter was depicted as questioning, petulant and had a tendency to be more extreme than Batman, even killing in one instance. In the Death In The Family storyline Jason Todd as Robin had been beaten by the Joker. The end of the comic featured a 1-900 telephone number to allow fans to determine his fate. While an alternate ending was created to show Robin had lived, the fan vote determined the fate of Jason Todd to die. Batman #428 revealed the outcome of the fan vote.

The comic was signed by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson at New York Comic Con 2018. Dennis O'Neil signed the comic at the East Coast Comic Con 2019. Swamp Thing # 59 has been hand signed by Bernie Wrightson (1948-2017, Swamp Thing Co-Creator) and John Totleben (Inker) at the Baltimore Comic Con 2015. Alan Moore changed comics with his innovative writing on Swamp Thing. Combined with a detailed and mood setting art by Steve Bissette, John Totleben and Alfredo Alcala among others, Alan Moore's Swamp Thing led the way for more mature stories in main stream comics that would eventually lead to DC's Vertigo imprint. The signatures were witnessed by a Brooklyn Comic Shop representative. This comic comes with a signed Certificate Of Authenticity (COA).

Date: 1980 Condition Notes: Mid Grade Condition Marvel Team-Up # 95 features the first appearance of Mockingbird (Bobbi Morse) from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series and has a cover by Frank Miller.

The series ended with 72. Because of the series coming to a close, these final issues saw extremely low production runs.
