Hal Jordan and The Green Lantern Corps # 13 features the debut of V. Ken Marion as the new artist on Green Lantern. This comic has been hand signed with a Green Lantern head sketch by V. Ken Marion for the Brooklyn Comic Shop at a private signing.
60 years in the future, Somar-Le, now a grandmother, tells her grandchildren the story of when Starro attacked Xudar when she was a girl, and how after losing her parents in the attack she was inspired by the courageous Green Lanterns who came to the rescue. She re-tells the story of the Green Lanterns battle with Larfleeze to free the captured Xudarians. She also hints of some further battles of the Green Lanterns and the other Lantern Corps that we have not yet seen. At the end of the story, we learn that Somar-Le, inspired by the Corps, became a Green Lantern herself.
This comic features the first appearance cameo of the new Green Lantern villain, The Prism.
A Brooklyn Comic Shop representative witnessed the signature in person. Comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity (C.O.A).

Item Notes: Batman # 428 features the Death of Jason Todd (Robin II).
Jason Todd, the second Robin, was controversial from his inception as a replacement for Dick Grayson (the first Robin). Created by Gerry Conway for Batman #357, Todd was a mirror image of Dick Grayson with the exception that he had blonde hair that he dyed when appearing as Robin.
After Crisis on Infinite Earths, Jason Todd's origin was dramatically altered to re-envision him as street kid. Jason Todd hereafter was depicted as questioning, petulant and had a tendency to be more extreme than Batman, even killing in one instance.
In the Death In The Family storyline Jason Todd as Robin had been beaten by the Joker. The end of the comic featured a 1-900 telephone number to allow fans to determine his fate.
While an alternate ending was created to show Robin had lived, the fan vote determined the fate of Jason Todd to die. Batman #428 revealed the outcome of the fan vote.
