Deathmate: Prologue was the conclusion of the Valiant and Image company crossover. The standard version of the comic was issued with silver foil border.
Deathmate mini-series was a company crossover between Valiant and Image comics at the height of their popularity. The crossover featured artwork by Barry Windsor Smith, Joe Quesada, Jim Lee, Bob Layton, Marc Silvestri and Rob Liefeld. Deathmate also premiered Jim Lee’s Gen 13 characters.
