Date: 1985 Condition Notes: High Grade Condition Avengers # 257 features the first appearance of Nebula, grand daughter of Thanos. Nebula was played by actress Karen Gillan from Guardians Of The Galaxy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Swamp Thing # 59 has been hand signed by Bernie Wrightson (1948-2017, Swamp Thing Co-Creator) and John Totleben (Inker) at the Baltimore Comic Con 2015. Alan Moore changed comics with his innovative writing on Swamp Thing. Combined with a detailed and mood setting art by Steve Bissette, John Totleben and Alfredo Alcala among others, Alan Moore's Swamp Thing led the way for more mature stories in main stream comics that would eventually lead to DC's Vertigo imprint. The signatures were witnessed by a Brooklyn Comic Shop representative. This comic comes with a signed Certificate Of Authenticity (COA).

Following the Mutant Massacre storyline, Mr. Sinister sends the Marauders to kill Cyclops's estranged wife, Madelyne Prior. This issue also features an appearance by Sabretooth that leads into the next isssue's second Wolverine vs. Sabretooth fight in Uncanny X-Men # 222.

Amazing Spider-Man # 252 features the first appearance of the Venom Costume. This is a KEY comic from the 1980’s that lead to famous Spider-Man villains such as Venom and Carnage. Condition Notes: Mid-Grade Condition with minimal cover wear. Item Notes: Batman # 428 features the Death of Jason Todd (Robin II). Jason Todd, the second Robin, was controversial from his inception as a replacement for Dick Grayson (the first Robin). Created by Gerry Conway for Batman #357, Todd was a mirror image of Dick Grayson with the exception that he had blonde hair that he dyed when appearing as Robin. After Crisis on Infinite Earths, Jason Todd's origin was dramatically altered to re-envision him as street kid. Jason Todd hereafter was depicted as questioning, petulant and had a tendency to be more extreme than Batman, even killing in one instance. In the Death In The Family storyline Jason Todd as Robin had been beaten by the Joker. The end of the comic featured a 1-900 telephone number to allow fans to determine his fate. While an alternate ending was created to show Robin had lived, the fan vote determined the fate of Jason Todd to die. Batman #428 revealed the outcome of the fan vote.
