Date: 1985 Condition Notes: Excellent Condition, CGC 9.4 Grade Item Notes: DC Spotlight # 1 features the first artwork and sketches ever seen for Frank Miller's Batman: Dark Knight Returns and Alan Moore's Watchmen. Also includes write-ups for George Perez's Crisis On Infinite Earths and Jack Kirby's Super Powers saga.

This Batman Print is hand signed by inker Joe Giella (b. 1928) in black sharpie pen.   Joe Giella is best known as the DC Comics inker for Carmine Infantino during the 1950's and 1960's. He worked as a ghost artist for Bob Kane on Batman, as well as many of the early Flash (Barry Allen) and Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) comics of that era. He is credited with inking the first appearance of the Justice League of America. Joe Giella’s signature on this print was witnessed by the Brooklyn Comic Shop at the East Coast Comic Con 2019 in New York. The comic comes with a Certificate of Authenticity C.O.A.

Comic Notes: Batman # 436 features the first appearance of Tim Drake as a flashback sequence recounting the night of Dick Grayson's parents' murder. Condition Notes: High Grade Condition with cover  minimal wear.

Batman # 442 has been signed by creators, writer Marv Wolfman at New York Comic Con 2018, artist Pat Broderick at Boston Comic Con 2016 and Editor Dennis O'Neil at East Coast Comic Con 2019.
