Marvel has regarded this issue as the official first appearance of Venom, while CGC considers Amazing Spider-Man # 300 as the first appearance. Either way, Amazing Spider-Man # 299 is a must have for any Spider-Man collector!

Signature Notes: Amazing Spider-Man # 299 was hand signed by Co-Creator Artist, Todd McFarlane, and inker Bob McLeod at New York Comic Con 2019. The comic was also signed Co-Creator Writer, David Michelinie, at Mohegan Sun Terrific Con 2018.
