Her character was featured heavily in the 1990’s X-Men Animated Cartoon Series. In the comics, Jubilee developed as a close companion of Wolverine. Her character is modeled on a female version of DC Batman’s Robin from Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns 1986 mini-series. This concept is noted in her character design which features a yellow trenchcoat similar to a cape, and her original red shirt and green shorts color combination.
