Story Notes:
Wolverine has been kidnapped by the Canadian government. The X-Men mount a rescue but are stopped by the powerful Canadian super-hero group, Alpha Flight. Alpha Flight is charged with bringing Wolverine, a former Alpha Flight member, to the Canadian authorities under charges of treason. This is the first story that begins to address the mysterious background of Wolverine, known as Weapon X.
