Through his memories, he recalls the loves of his life including Betty Dean and Sue Richards. He questions his life as a superhero. At the conclussion of Dorma’s funeral, the Sub-Mariner publicly renounces his throne and exiles himself from Atlantis.

This issue is dedicated to Bill Everett (1917-1973), who created the Sub-Mariner.
