Date: March, 1983 Condition: Mid-Grade Condition, Fine (No Tatooz insert) Amazing Spider-Man # 238 features the first appearance of the Hobgoblin. Amazing Spider-Man # 238 was signed by artist John Romita Jr. at New York Comic Con 2017 and by writer Roger Stern at Mohegan Sun Terrific Con 2018. These signatures were witnessed by a representative of the Brooklyn Comic Shop and come with a Certificate Of Authenticity COA.

Akira # 02 is a first printing in English of Katsuhiro Otomo's ground breaking Manga comic. Akira was later featured as an Anime film that had a major impact on American comic artists including Jim Lee. Condition: High Grade condition.

Uncanny X-Men # 128 features Proteus, and has brief appearances by Magneto and Multiple Man in Flashback. This issue is part of the legendary comic run of John Byrne and Chris Claremont that shaped the scope of X-Men to this day. The Byrne/Claremont team reinvigorated interest in the X Men franchise and saved it from cancellation. These stories developed Wolverine's background and was the source of some of the greatest X-Men stories, "Days Of Future Past" and "the Dark Phoenix Saga."

Condition Notes: Mid-Grade Condition with minimal cover wear. Item Notes: Batman # 428 features the Death of Jason Todd (Robin II). Jason Todd, the second Robin, was controversial from his inception as a replacement for Dick Grayson (the first Robin). Created by Gerry Conway for Batman #357, Todd was a mirror image of Dick Grayson with the exception that he had blonde hair that he dyed when appearing as Robin. After Crisis on Infinite Earths, Jason Todd's origin was dramatically altered to re-envision him as street kid. Jason Todd hereafter was depicted as questioning, petulant and had a tendency to be more extreme than Batman, even killing in one instance. In the Death In The Family storyline Jason Todd as Robin had been beaten by the Joker. The end of the comic featured a 1-900 telephone number to allow fans to determine his fate. While an alternate ending was created to show Robin had lived, the fan vote determined the fate of Jason Todd to die. Batman #428 revealed the outcome of the fan vote.

These issues feature the first appearance of Mr. Sinister, leader of the Marauders. Following the Mutant Massacre storyline, Mr. Sinister sends the Marauders to kill Cyclops's estranged wife, Madelyne Prior. This issue also features an appearance by Sabretooth that leads into the next isssue's second Wolverine vs. Sabretooth fight in Uncanny X-Men # 222.

Condition: High Grade Condition New Mutants # 88 has cover art by Todd McFarlane and Rob Liefeld. The comic book features the second appearance of Cable.
