This issue of Secret Wars was published at the same time that the original Venom storyline was concluding in Amazing Spider-Man # 258, which revealed the costume to be an evil alien symbiote. Spider-Man Editor Danny Fingeroth signed the comic at the Jewish Comic Con 2018.
