The book features the introduction and origin stories to these major DC Superheroes.

Famous 1st Edition (known as Treasury Editions) was a series of large scale tabloid reproductions of classic DC comics. These were produced by DC starting in 1972. The reproductions include all original artwork and advertising exactly as it appeared in the 1940’s but scaled to larger format.

Condition: High-Grade Condition with minimal cover wear. Pics are of the actual item and are not stock photos. Comic is complete and has No Rips and No Cut-Outs. SEE PICS

Artist: George Olesen and Keith Williams Size: appx 15″x 6″ Medium: Pen and Ink on Bristol Board About: This is original production art for the Phantom Daily Newspaper Strip by George Olesen and Keith Williams. The Phantom was created by writer Lee Falk (1911-1999). The Phantom has been featured in movie serials from the 1940's, Radio shows, Cartoon series, and a modern Live Action film in 1996. The character was one of the major influences of Batman, whose creators heavily borrowed from the Phantom. The newspaper strip began publication in 1936 and is still published today. This artwork is the original production artwork and is one of a kind. The artwork comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity COA hand signed by Elizabeth Falk from the Lee Falk Estate.
