Condition Notes: Mint condition.
After the Death of Superman storyline, followed a 10 part story, Funeral for a Friend, which showed the vacuum left by the death of Superman. Fans were teased with the return of Superman, but instead the final part, Adventures of Superman # 500, saw the emergence of four distinct Supermen: The Eradicator, Cyborg-Superman, Steel, and Superboy (Conner Kent).

This Batman Print is hand signed by inker Joe Giella (b. 1928) in black sharpie pen.
Joe Giella is best known as the DC Comics inker for Carmine Infantino during the 1950's and 1960's. He worked as a ghost artist for Bob Kane on Batman, as well as many of the early Flash (Barry Allen) and Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) comics of that era. He is credited with inking the first appearance of the Justice League of America.
Joe Giella’s signature on this print was witnessed by the Brooklyn Comic Shop at the East Coast Comic Con 2019 in New York.
