GI JOE TIGER FORCE SNAKE EYES BLACK MAJOR TOY REVIEW

By Joshua H. Stulman

A blast from the past…kinda! If you are a vintage G.I. Joe 3 3/4″ fan then you may be lamenting Hasbro’s abandonment of the “O Ring” designed G.I. Joes. But fear not, the Black Major is here!

At the end of 2020, The Black Major released their new Tiger Force Snake Eyes and Tiger Force Firefly figures. These figures are throwback to the 1988 G.I. Joe sub-team, that was comprised of older figures originally released from 1983-1985 in a re-decoed tiger stripe theme.

CHECK OUT THE VIDEO TOY REVIEW

The Black Major is a third party toy manufacturer that produces new versions of G.I. Joes based on the original toys. These figures are produced with steel molds with plastic injections just like the original figures! They have professional machine paint apps and perfect Cobra symbols.

Production of these “new” G.I. Joes began around 2012 with variations of the Cobra Soldier with new never before seen deco (Arctic, Desert, Crimson) and more. Black Major has also created new logos for these divisions that are based on the Cobra sigil.

Since then, the Black Major has been releasing “new” 3 3/4″ G.I. Joes every year and has been expanding the selections of toy molds and decos. These “unofficial” GI Joes are produced in limited quantity and make great addition to your Cobra and G.I. Joe ranks!
