With Thanksgiving upon us, the holiday season has finally arrived! We hear from parents and friends of comic fans alike who aren’t sure about what kinds of presents are out there. 1) Action Comics #1

Sure to be a hit with any comic fan both young and old! Action Comics #1 is the first appearance of Superman (and also the very first Super-Hero comic book!) It dates back to 1938 created by Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel after years of pitching their new hero to publishers. Finally Superman saw print with over a million copies run off the presses. But since these weren’t seen as collectibles back then few were saved. Between the paper drives and parents’ cleaning house, only about 20 survive in excellent shape and maybe 500 copies exist in total. At a value of upwards $2.5 million, Sorry but you’ll have to hit the auction block for this one!
